Can we have a match while social distancing?

With so many people across the country staying at home and matches being canceled and postponed, Chas wanted to find a way to keep everyone on their toes. So the "Covid Precision Rifle Match" was born after he reached out to a few companies to see if they would be willing to be "sponsors". Many of you follow our Facebook and Instagram pages, so you probably have already seen hundreds of videos and posts with the #covidprecisionriflematch tag. Some of you may not though so I wanted to let everyone know about this great opportunity to get some time behind the rifle in while still maintaining social distancing.

Since starting this a little over a week ago, we have had over two dozen sponsors come on board with a wide variety of prizes. The prizes will be awarded by random draw on a live Instagram post on April 12th at 2 pm MST.

If you don't have someone to help video you, set your phone or camera up so that we can see you. You don't have to keep score. This is just for FUN! There are example videos on our website with the course of fire. Please remember to use the #covidprecisionriflematch when you post your videos (one at a time or all at once - either works) to Instagram or Facebook. Make sure to tag (or at least try to tag) all the great sponsors!

In addition, there will be "Match T-Shirts" and hoodies available through a web store set up by Nine Line Apparel. This web store will open on Monday, April 13th and be open for two weeks. As soon as we have the link we will post it on our website, Facebook and Instagram. There will be a variety of hoodies and t-shirts available for women, men and even youth sizes (yes your kids can enter too).

If your kids shoot the match and you don't want to use their names/faces on social media, feel free to redact/blur faces as appropriate. You can use your own account and just say that it is your daughter or son.

We strongly encourage everyone who has the option of getting out to enter this match! Videos can be posted through Saturday, April 11th.
