Nelson, one of George Washington's favorite horses during the Revolutionary War, was foaled in 1763.  He lived until 1790, and died at 27 years.  He was favored by Washington because he was bomb proof and not easily provoked by gunfire.  After the war, he was retired to Mount Vernon where he lived out his days.  We are honored to name our modular two bag system Nelson.
